Hailing from Udine in Italy, master luthier Luca Zerilli infuses his passion for music and woodworking into every masterpiece at Zerilli Liuteria. The Venere Montagnana cello is handcrafted by Luca. The top is made of high-quality spruce with straight, even grain, complementing a two-piece Balkan maple back, with narrow flame rising from the centre. The Venere is finished with a reddish-brown spirit varnish and Bogaro & Clemente blackwood fittings with boxwood inserts. A certificate of authenticity is provided that attests to the violin's provenance and quality.
